My project 365

So, it may seem like I’m conforming by making my own project 365, but even so, I’m doing it for my own reasons. I feel like a lot of the time, I’m just passing through, and I want to really see the world, you know? I don’t want to be just another body moving, a breathing. I want to live, and this is my form of documenting it. I plan on doing this for more than one year. This year, right now, I’m just doing random things so far. Nothing extrodinary to share yet. However, hopefully as days go on, I can do better. Right now I’ll I have is my phone camera. But hopefully I’ll be able to get a better camera soon. Here’s what I have so far:

Day one: 10/10/10: waffles for breakfast!

Day two: 10/11/10: I hadn’t taken a cutesie picture in a whileeee.

Day three: 10/12/10: This bruise is now 4 days old today.

Day four: 10/13/10: This rainbow was on the living room floor this morning before work!

Day five: 10/14/10: My best friend Katie decided to do my makeup and make me look like a man.

Day six: 10/15/10: Today I finally got to see my niece again, but she’s still far away.

That’s what I’ve got so far.

You’d think I fell off the face of the earth! I never do my blog anymore. I think I’m going to add my Project 365 on here to help keep me motivated, and all of my crafty fun things that I do. I made a hat this weekend! It’s super cute! Just so you know! I’ll be adding project 365 tomorrow, and working on my own pattern soon for a hat. Also, I’m coming up with ideas for blogging, so I’ll be back, for sure!

So, I know that I’m really far behind on my blogging. I’m really busy! I’ve been doing so much with school all summer and I just started my new semester. But I knew I needed to take some time to thank my wonderful fellow blogger, Katja for her wonderful giveaway prize that I recieved. A lovely headband! (you can learn how to make them too, here!)

Katja’s blog is probably my favorite to read right now. I really enjoy it because she’s so creative, and crafty and inspiring.

I’m really bad at blogging apparently. I just get busy with doing school and things. I am going to try oh so much harder. I promise. Even if it’s just a small update at the end of the day.

My sister is having another baby, so I’m going to crochet her a baby blanket!
I’m extremely excited.

Also, I’m going to make another quilt I think. Annnnd, I’m going to start planning ideas to maybe be able to start my own etsy shop when i start making enough things. This is just a small update. I’ll write again later tonight. BYEEEEE

My newfound blog friend Katja is doing a new giveaway, and I’m thoroughly excited! It is THE cutest camera bag ever, and she made it by hand. an owl!!!

Saturday went like this:

I stayed up all night crafting Friday night to Saturday morning, and ended up taking a nap at noon. I slept until 4. Then I was on a website I visit and someone had said this about me:

You inspire me more than anyone else in this entire world does. i love you so much. you are my best friend. whether you see it or not. everything you have overcome makes me believe i can do anything. Thank you.

It made me so happy. Especially because I didn’t know who it was. I just can’t believe that someone actually thinks this way about me, and it made my whole day. I thanked the dear stranger, and found out who it was, but it’s better a mystery for sure.

Today is the fourth of July. I am excited. My cousin is celebrating her 11th birthday (it was actually the 1st ) today, and we’re having a party. She’s extremely obsessed with Justin Bieber, and she’s going to love her gift. I’m. wearing red, white and blue, and later I’m going to see FIREWORKS!

I am starting a tradition. I’m will post my favorite postsecret on Sundays, and say what I feel about it. starting today.

I will ALWAYS choose the long way. I love car rides with my friends, or my love. And any extra time brings me more joy.<3

It’s been a pretty LONG night. I haven’t gone to sleep yet. Nothing is wrong. I just haven’t been tired yet. I spent the wee morning hours sewing a bag to hold a composition book in, I measured it to fit perfectly; However, as most things go wrong, my project followed suit. I can only fit the book into my bag if I shove it in and never want it to come back out, or if I turn it longways, but then it sticks out of the top. It also fits Steven’s Ipad (super snugly). This would be excellent, if it wasn’t girly.

I’m going to find a fabulous fabric to make him an Ipad cover up. I’m excited. I love being crafty and making things. I crocheted a hat the other day from this pattern. I made it a little shorter than the pattern says, and I did it in blue, which is RIDICULOUS, because I don’t think I have anything that color blue to wear it with at all. So now I’m on a conquest to find the perfect pattern for a slouchy hat. I’m really excited! Well, I think this will suffice for my first blog on wordpress.com. Enjoy your day!
